PROPERTY Description
This 3,400 square foot custom cabin on over a half acre of meticulously landscaped lakefront offers accomodations for 13 guests. The cabin is located in the quiet Mallard Bay neighborhood, a perfect setting for snow fun, bike riding & walking. The huge fenced yard is truely a winter playground with room for mild sledding, snowball fights, and frollicking in the snow.

Offered for the first time as a vacation rental in 2015, the expansive Lakefront estate at Mallard Bay has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, two large decks, WiFi, and over 1/2 acre of beautifully maintianed landscaping. The home features an expansive, sun-filled great room with a wood-burning fireplace and a 2-story wall of windows to the lake. Frolic in the snow with your young ones in the very large, completely fenced and gated back yard or venture a few steps to the dry lake bed for some sledding. This is one of the very few lakefront homes in Big Bear Lake with a secure gated backyard for families. The Mallard Bay area is centrally located; only 4 minutes to Snow Summit and 2 minutes to Alpine sledding. With easy access to the village, hiking, and ski slopes, this lakefront estate is perfectly located for all your adventures in Big Bear Lake. .
First Floor: The first floor offers an expansive open floor plan that brings family together while cooking, dining, or relaxing. Walk in through the front door and you will say "WOW" as your eyes peer through the two-story wall of windows and focuses on the serenity the lake. The living room is equipped with an HD TV with satellite service and all the internet-based services such as Netflix and HULU. The kitchen is stocked with the tools of the trade and an eat in breakfast bar. For the cook with a flair for the grill a 5-burner propane grill is provided. Dine inside at the large table surrounded by windows. The first floor has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master suite has a king sized bed, an HD TV, a wood burning fireplace, and a full bathroom with shower and a large soaking tub. The other two large bedrooms share a bathroom (one room has king bed the other with a queen).
Second Floor: The second floor is a large loft that serves as fantastic game room and spacious sleeping area. Accommodations here include, two twins, a bunk bed with twin over full, and a pull out queen sized sleeper sofa. There is plenty of room here for additional blow-up mattresses or sleeping bags. The loft includes a pool table, dartboard, wetbar, and numerous board games and puzzles.
Amenities : We provide only the finest luxury amenities that include: Spa-quality towels, high thread-count linens, spa soap, shampoo conditioner and lotion, and quality paper products.
Additional Info : High speed WIFI access is provided. Parking is available for 6 cars. This house was a private home only recently converted to a rental.
Lake level update as of 8/1/2016: With the lake down 14 feet the dock at this property is not useable. We have adjusted our prices to reflect this.
