Perfect getaway
We stayed here for a long weekend to attend the Taylor Swift concert at the Rose Bowl. Location was super convenient, quiet and a short Lyft ride away from restaurants. House was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The separate upstairs worked great for our pre-teens. The weather didn't cooperate for swimming, but the pool was clean and safely fenced in. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We would definitely stay again.

We picked this 5 BR home ( up & down) based on the "pictures" posted on the VRBO website, the amenities & home equipment supposedly available, the swimming pool, and location to LA area. What we did like was early checkin, the space, comfort of most beds, towels & updated bathrooms. What we were extremely disappointed was lack of overall cleanliness particularly on the floor, permanent stains on many rugs, dirty walls, no duvet covers or top sheets on 4 single beds, not enough decent sleeping pillows, disgusting sofa pillows, 6" hole in ceiling of twin bedroom with debris on bed and floor (obviously caused by water leak), upstairs unit space very poorly maintained (rickety outside entrance steps, peeling paint, dirty upstairs porch, filthy rugs and outdated flooring), dead rodent & leaves in the pool, & dirty outside furniture. If we had not rented both floors we would not have had enough dishes, dishwasher soap, towels, etc since many supplies were more prevalent in 2nd floor. The contact people answered the phone rather quickly during the 5 complaint phone calls made on checkin day asking for the house to be recleaned ending with Armando arriving at 7:30 pm-taping the ceiling with duct tape and bringing 4 brand new top sheets which he suggested we wash before using. He said he was unable to get a cleaning service back to rectify our many complaints till several days later. There was no sweeper just a broom. The house was also in a pending sale contract and the rental agency said they were unaware of this happening-outside work was being done on arrival day related to sale of house. Our daughter's family is used to staying hotels such as Westin and this house has ruined there opinion of staying of any VRBO's in the future. The website pictures were extremely misleading.
