Overall Satisfacation

Sierra Park 1
Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012  In general, it was fine but there were a few things...there were only 5 chairs instead of 6 at the dining table (we might get blamed that we took it), someone had put charcoal briquettes in a gas BBQ and we had to take them out or be accused of doing it, ran out of Cascade after 1 use, very little TP, owners could invest in a few more forks-- only enough for a meal and a half.

Fun cabin!
Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012  This rental is very nice and spacious. The property as at the top of a very large, steep hill that you can't get up with chains during the snow season. I saw trucks with 4 wheel drive make it up, but be prepared for that. Hot water doesn't last long. The amount of space is great though. Had a wonderful time.

Great snow trip
Stayed for 3 days in December, 2016  We enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The best part was the fact that there was a snow hill for the kids to go down nearby and we didn't have to pay and go to a snow park. The day we left there was so much snow we almost didn't get out of the housing development, even with our snow chains on. All in all it was a great trip for our family!

Weekend Getaway
Stayed for 2 days in January, 2017  The cabin was nice and spacious. If I rent the cabin again I need to remember to bring an axe to make the logs smaller and some paper to light a fire in the fireplace. Also, the road leading to the front door is very steep and you will need a 4x4 to make it up the hill.

Not our best stay
Stayed for 3 days in December, 2017  Mixed feelings: the property is nice, although it is on a very steep hill and requires 4WD during the snow season. It's relatively clean but we have seen at least 5 spiders crawling in the living room and the bedrooms. The beds are super uncomfortable and old in every room. The bathroom in master bedroom does not have a door, which was irritating because one of us had to exit the room in order for the other to go do their business. The kitchen, although well stocked, lacked a tea kettle, so we warmed up the water in a pot for the tea drinkers. No WiFi is definitely an inconvenience, coupled with no cell phone service. A cherry on top was running out of propane on NYE, so no water, heat or hot food at 5 pm. The property manager fixed it but our plans for the night were impacted and the kids had to take cold showers to be on time for dinner. The biggest annoyance was the notes everywhere with "do not do, do not touch, do not take" messages. The overall impression was "this house should not be rented if it's so precious to the owner". The plus was a big deck but again, no chairs to sit and stargaze. We will not go back, lots of other homes around without that many restrictions.
