PROPERTY Description

The first snow of the year has fallen! Our recently remodeled 3-bed, 3-bath rental is one of the most sought-after units at the Resort at Squaw Creek. Amazing view of the valley, mountain, and tram-face. Over-sized corner floorplan with wrap-around windows. There are very few 3BRs available and this is one of the best.

Rated by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the nation?s Top 5 Resort Spas.

Inside, the open-concept floor-plan showcases incredible views of the surrounding mountains, valley, and forest along with 3 inviting bedrooms ? each with en-suite baths and flat screen TVs.

Along with ski-in/ski-out access to Squaw Valley USA, this stunning resort has an 18-hole championship golf course, 2 heated swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, 2 private tennis courts, an ice rink in the winter and 18 kilometers of cross-country skiing terrain.

In winter, go skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and dog sledding. Arriving in the warmer months? Hit the Robert Trent Jones Jr. Golf Course, grab backpacks and hit the resort?s nature trail, enjoy fly-fishing in the stocked trout pond, or rent out bikes and cycle along the Truckee River Bike Trail.

Don?t forget to book yourself in for a soothing massage or body treatment at the resort?s indulgent spa!

*Please note: The Resort at Squaw Creek requires a $90/night resort fee payable directly to the resort upon arrival. This unit is a private owners unit and includes standard departure housekeeping. Daily service can be arranged at an additional cost.

INSIDE THE CONDO

Enjoy epic, widescreen views of Squaw Valley?s forested mountains in an open-concept living space boasting big, wraparound windows. Huddle around the fireplace on chilly nights, catch movies on the wall-mounted flat-screen or hook up your vacation playlist to a Bose sound system.

The open kitchenette features a Wolf stove top, mini-fridge and dishwasher. In between the kitchenette and living room is an heavy alpine-themed dining area that seats 6.

All three of the bedrooms come with wide-open views of the Resort Pool, Squaw Creek chairlift, and up the valley to the Tram Face. The bright master bedroom features a plush king-size bed, all-new furnishings, plenty of storage space, an iHome speaker dock and wall-mounted flat-screen -- a perfect space to curl up after a long day on the slopes.

The second bedroom also features a king-size bed, flat-screen TV and en-suite bathroom. The third, hotel-style guest bedroom is seriously spacious, with 2 queen-size beds, a flat-screen TV, coffee maker, and an iHome speaker dock. All bedrooms also come with their own private en-suite baths with shower/tub combos and granite vanities. The living room has a queen-size sleeper sofa for extra guests.

OUR LOCATION

The Resort at Squaw Creek puts endless outdoor activities at your doorstep! In winter, enjoy ski-in, ski-out access to Squaw Valley, sledding, ice skating, snowshoeing and dog sled tours through the glistening landscape.

In warm months, stroll 1 minute to a stunning, 18-hole championship golf course at the base of Squaw Valley. Or take the family on a nature trail within the resort, hit the surrounding trails around Squaw Valley's peaks or hire bikes and enjoy a relaxing ride along the Truckee River Bike Trail - less than 3.5 miles from home. We?re also just a 13-minute drive from Alpine Meadows - an idyllic location for guided horseback rides.

You?ll find plenty of restaurants right at the resort or nearby. There is almost no reason to cook anything with Sweet Potato's Cafe just downstairs - open for breakfast, lunch or dinner and in-room dining. Order succulent burgers at Sandy?s Pub on-site, or sample New American cuisine at Six Peaks Grille - both located right at the resort. Or hop on the short shuttle ride to the main village to Fireside Pizza Company for some of the best pizzas anywhere in Lake Tahoe.

Beautiful views
Stayed for 3 days in October, 2017  I stayed here with my family for a wedding over the weekend. The unit faces the mountainside and has spectacular views. We had plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 babies. My only negative comment is that the furniture is nicked and tired looking . The unit was very clean.

Beautiful view - unit showing some wear
Stayed for 6 days in June, 2018  You can?t beat the mountain valley view! The resort, while lovely, could?ve used a few touches (weeding, etc). The unit itself was quiet (corner unit), plenty of space, and presented itself as advertised. The housekeeping upon arrival was slightly disappointing - minor attention and effort would correct it (dusting, there was take-out food from previous guests still in one of the mini fridges, some of the light fixtures didn?t work, etc.) A number of the staff appeared to still be in training, unsure of answers. We attributed it to seasonal turnover, or possible new management. Still a great location and beautiful property.
