Our beach house has incredible ocean views, a private boardwalk to Sunset Beach, a large deck, and huge windows showcasing ocean vistas. Enjoy the new air conditioning system on hot days, a rare find for beachfront properties! Even better, we?re conveniently located off the Pacific Coast Highway, close to restaurants and shopping!
NOTE: a $50 per-day hot tub and property maintenance fee will be added to your reservation total. All guests are charged this same amount.

"We hope you enjoy our home as much as our family has for the past 18 years. Feel free to avail yourselves of all that our home has to offer ? including the beach chairs, toys and two unlocked bikes in the garage. Please know that we often visit this home ourselves and have deep respect for our neighbors. This is not a home for parties: loud, late gatherings are not permitted, and guests who ignore this policy will be subject to eviction and fines.
INSIDE THE HOUSE
Nearly the entire front of this spectacular beachfront house is glass. Massive picture windows and patio doors all look onto the Pacific Ocean. The living area, with its stone gas fireplace, flat-screen TV and comfy overstuffed queen sized sleeper sofa and chairs easily seats 8. Gather ?round the fire in the evenings for movies or to show off your day?s collection of seashells.
The open kitchen is state-of-the-art, with a gas range and stainless appliances. Greenhouse windows above the sink provide natural light and room for potted fresh herbs. Another stone fireplace adds character to the updated kitchen. A sizeable granite counter island has bar stool seating for 4 and faces the dining area with another table for 6 more. Double patio doors open to the large oceanfront deck. A full bathroom on the main floor features a vanity sink and shower.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms. Claim the master for yourself: it has an en-suite bath, a king-sized bed, and an entire wall of windows and patio doors leading to another oceanfront deck.
Two more upstairs bedrooms share a second full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed; the other, great for kids, with two twin beds.
The downstairs deck is spacious with a BBQ and dining table next to a protective glass screen. Step down and follow a short, private boardwalk to the sands of Sunset Beach. Long walks, jogs, swimming, surfing, seashell hunting, and castle building all at your door!
Please be advised that the County of Orange builds a wall of sand during winter months in order to protect beachfront residences from winter storms. This wall is up from December to the beginning of March. During this time the ocean views from the downstairs are obstructed, however, the views from the second floor are still unobstructed. Beach access is not blocked and still available.
THE LOCATION
The Pacific Coast highway is only a minute away for this beachfront rental! From there, explore Orange County highlights like Newport Beach, Long Beach, and Huntington Beach. A full collection of restaurants, boutiques and entertainment venues all within a 15-minute drive.
For culture, visit the Long Beach Museum of Art, where kids can see old trains at the Red Car Museum. And, of course, Anaheim and Disney are just 30 minutes away by car!

Absolutely Amazing!!
Stayed for 3 days in April, 2018 Location excellent. No busy traffic off the road it is on. Can walk to several small shops and restaurants. Little park near by. The home is absolutely amazing!! Spacious. Very ocean home feel. It was a perfect beach home! We cannot wait to come back!!Beach house birthday!
Stayed for 3 days in May, 2018 Walking in the door all was AWESOME! It wasn?t until we returned from grocery shopping and settled in, that we began to notice: the floors were filthy, espically under the living room rug & under tables and such. The first floor windows were so filthy there was really no view (we cleaned them ourselves). With the cost of cleaning being paid, you?d expect to not have these issues. The trash can slide out would not stay in and was quite a pain, seeing it?s in the path of the fridge door. The queen room bed squeaks so horribly you could not adjust your sleeping positions without being a neusance to yourself and the master bedroom. Many windows are missing screens, so letting the beautiful breeze in came with intruders of the insect nature. The neighbor on the entry door side of the house was so rude (not her daughter, she was very sweet), and nasty! No hi or hello when addressed with one and when the wind caught a frisbee and blew it into her yard she about lost her mind. Our children are made to respect landscaping and personal property as well as were instructed to be quiet due to the tight spaces, you?d think they were the complete opposite based on her reactions. PROS: linens and bathrooms very clean, wonderful location, cozy interior design, stocked well, use of garage was very convenient, close park and bike trails, as well as liquor store within walk/ride distance for spontaneous treat tripsBeach House Get-a-Way
Stayed for 4 days in June, 2018 In the end, it's a beach house right on the water ? no one can forget this as not much gets better than staring out at the endless Pacific Ocean. With that said, here?s my review (in no specific order):Pros- Location. It?s incredible. We?ve stayed on the beach at Del Mar, Laguna, & Coronado. I like Sunset Beach the best. It?s relaxed & easy going & the beach was amazing. We have kids so Del Mar & some of the other spots the waves are too strong ? the water here is perfect. May not be the best for surfing, but for us it was awesome. We loved the restaurants, the street the house was on, & the park like 1/10th of a mile away- Back Yard. You can see it from the photo, but the little mound between he house & the beach is not only beautiful, but it creates an amazing separation from the public beach giving you privacy. We ate outside a ton.- Master bath & bedroom. Really nice.- House in general. Pretty good- Garage. Really nice to have.Cons (these obviously stick out in ones mind)- Ants. We had an ant problem in the kitchen. It was gross. We called TurnKey (and sent a phot), but I don?t think there was much they could do. I guess they could have come & sprayed, but I really didn?t want that in the kitchen while we were there. We just sort of kept ?wiping? them away from around the sink. Pretty sure they live behind the fridge where my guess is there is food. Let?s just say my wife wasn?t thrilled. I have no idea how the cleaners didn?t handle this. it was obvious.- Twin bed bedroom (where my kids slept). The window doesn?t have a screen on it & it?s right by the head of the beds. Had my kids opened the windows, they could have just fallen out. I called TurnKey immediately about this & they responded with ?there is nothing we can do; the owners have to install.? I told them this is a huge risk & I just hope my kids don?t think about opening the windows. Luckily, nothing bad happened ?.. if they fell it?s a long ways.- Air
