location, private, huge deck
Being able to walk to the Pier/beach and downtown was a must as we were sharing one car. Also, we wanted a deck to suntan, grill and enjoy a smoke and drink with a view. All were possible. There a lot of rental options in the area. Most share a deck or are right next to another one. This offers privacy, as much as you can get at this price. The satalite TV with movie channels, access to WI Fi and beach gear were a plus, not expected. The modern Sony TV made it easy for me to hook up and use the large screen as my second screen to get some work done while looking at the pier. It reminded me of a Big Bear or up north mid-west cottage with the gas stove, and simple furniture. What more do you need? The kitchen was well equipped including a coffee bean grinder and killer blender, crock pot, large fridge and a sharp knife and top notch wine opener......wow. Sometimes it's the little things. I felt like I was staying at a friend's cottage for as kind the hosts were. Easy walk to sundries store and not bad to Billy's for fresh meat and veggies/bakery, and Fred's for some Jack for my baby. Lots of restaurants, fun stuff to do and even a Fed Ex to finish my work/mailings within blocks. Will be back.
